Shiva is the timeless God of the Universe.
Before even the creation of our world, He alone exists; as existence itself,and can be understood as the Ultimate transcendence,the Supreme Being....the Transcendent God.

This Supreme Being,wants to become something,
The Upanishads say, in the beginning was the One. He looked around and saw that there was no one else. He felt alone and thought, may i be two, may i, be many!
Actually God wanted to be loved. And that is why he created, simply, To love and to be loved.
So, He manifests the world as we know it,with himself the projector,
but alongside all that he creates,he enters the project as an embodiment, much like the director taking a role in his own play! this is the step from Being to becoming.
Once he enters His own creation as an embodied being, He now involves himself in meditating and re-connecting with his transcendent Godness, Such connecting is termed as “Yoga”,and so, Shiva who is the Yogi par excellence, is replete with Divine knowledge and power. He is now the personal God.

Shiva constantly deploys his powers and wisdom, his Godhood,to uplift all his children , In this,he is goodness personified,and many who have faith in his immanence, worship him as their personal god. Shiva, therefore, also means , simply, the Auspicious, and we understand that Godliness is Goodness.

He is Dhyanastha-meditative,mindful, beneficent, always immersed in transmitting spiritual guidance,sharing many methods of attainment. Ultimately, at the end of life, all is absorbed back to him,but, those are lucky, who get absorbed in Godhead in their current birth, whilst retaining their body,that is, before actually dying. This is real attainment.This is real moksha and jivan mukti for a lover of Shiva.

एक बार जब वह एक मूर्त रूप में अपनी स्वयं की रचना में प्रवेश करते है, तो वह अब अपने आप को ध्यान में रखते है और अपने पारलौकिक ईश्वरत्व के साथ फिर से जुड़ते है, इस तरह के जुड़ाव को "योग" के रूप में कहा जाता है, और इसलिए, शिव जो कि योगी समता हैं, दिव्य से परिपूर्ण हैं ज्ञान और शक्ति। वह अब व्यक्तिगत ईश्वर है।

What is Yoga abhyasa ? योग अभ्यास क्या है ?

 Once Devi Parvati asked her Lord, about what yoga abhyasa is. Whether it is just a way to keep your body healthy with all sorts of postures; Asanas .

Shiva replied that Yoga asana is only a seat for the great flight to the Self. Meditation can be compared to His rides on Nandi, which can be smooth and natural or then tumultuous, with the energy of an untamed beast of the natural order. In fact, all of Nature’s things are like that. You need to be completely at oneness with them before you even start to mount the ride, otherwise you will just be overturned, which too is an important part in the process of learning.
He continued to say that Yoga is not about your body. Yoga is about discovering your soul.

The Devi then said that even she tried meditating. But sometimes, it was very difficult , often, in the dark, if she light a candle, she could quieten her mind and pray, but she wondered if that was different from meditation. In meditation, are we not supposed to turn off the mind completely?

Shiva replied that when you are meditating, don't think about what a meditation should be. The beauty is that you don't find meditation. It finds you. Your job is just to give yourself some quiet repose. And let these waves come and go,

एक बार देवी पार्वती ने अपने भगवान से पूछा कि योग अभ्यास क्या है। क्या यह सभी प्रकार की मुद्राओं के साथ आपके शरीर को स्वस्थ रखने का एक तरीका है; आसन।

शिवजी ने उत्तर दिया कि योग आसन स्वयं के लिए महान उड़ान का एक आसन है। ध्यान की तुलना नंदी पर उनकी सवारी की तुलना में की जा सकती है, जो सहज और प्राकृतिक हो सकती है या फिर प्राकृतिक रूप से एक अनछुए जानवर की ऊर्जा के साथ, पूर्ण हो सकती है। वास्तव में, प्रकृति की सभी चीजें ऐसी हैं। सवारी पर चढ़ने से पहले आपको पूरी तरह से उनके साथ रहना होगा, अन्यथा आप बस पलट जाएंगे, जो सीखने की प्रक्रिया में एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है।

वह कहते गए कि योग आपके शरीर के बारे में नहीं है। योग आपकी आत्मा की खोज के बारे में है।

seated firmly is the one

whom thoughts cannot sieve.

WHICH IS YOUR VAHAN? आपका कोनसा वाहन है?

 WHICH IS YOUR VAHAN?

The Vahans were an interesting thing.They were the transporters of Gods. Something more personalized than just a chariot, they were a sort of companion to the God they served. Asides from their ability to transport, they were a good parameter to gauge the technology of the time- they morphed themselves into other beasts, humans, denizens and sometimes even metal or other elements. The more sophisticated ones could evaporate into ether form and travel into the future.

So, while the Vahan gave a clear hint of the God's preference, isn't it true even in our time that the car we choose reflects our personality in a way?

Can we have a sporty car that can fly in the skies like Garuda?

or do we prefer a sturdy SUV robust like Nandi gana,

capable of moving in any condition?

Do we want our car to have a strong roar like Kesri, Ma Durga's lion ? Or a smooth cruiser like Saraswati's gentle Hamsa that glides through the waters?

But much more importantly, the Vahan also means in a way, your own subconscious mind. Vishnu ji is the ruler of skies like Garuda, Saraswati Ma is spiritually most enlightened, Mahadev Shiva is the most robust of all, moving in any terrain and any condition, and Ma Durga is the unassailable Goddess of Power. It IS their mind set!

Therefore, be very careful what kind of mind set you choose, because it is the mind that transports you throughout your life.

Saints have always known this and kept the Vahan of the mind in check by always fuelling it with sacred texts, Satsang , Bhakti and Dhyana.

आपका कोनसा वाहन है?

वाहन बहोत दिलचस्प चीजे थी। वे भगवान के परिवाहक थे। केवल रथ की तुलना में कुछ अधिक व्यक्तिगत, वे भगवान की सेवा के साथी थे। परिवहन की उनकी क्षमता के अनुसार, वे उस समय की तकनीक को समझने के लिए एक अच्छा पैरामीटर थे- उन्होंने खुद को अन्य जानवरों, मनुष्यों, बाशंदा और कभी-कभी धातु या अन्य तत्वों में भी जोड़ दिया। अधिक परिष्कृत व्यक्ति के रूप में लुप्त हो सकते हैं और भविष्य में यात्रा कर सकते हैं।

इसलिए, जबकि वाहान ने भगवान की पसंद का स्पष्ट संकेत दिया, क्या यह हमारे समय में भी सच नहीं है कि हम जो गाड़ी चुनते हैं वह हमारे व्यक्तित्व को एक तरह से दर्शाता है?

क्या हमारे पास एक साहसी गाड़ी हो सकती है जो गरुड़ की तरह आसमान में उड़ सके?

या क्या हम नंदी गण की तरह मजबूत एसयूवी पसंद करते हैं,

किसी भी हालत में आगे बढ़ने में सक्षम?

क्या हम चाहते हैं कि हमारी गाड़ी में केसरी, मा दुर्गा का शेर जैसी मजबूत दहाड़ हो? या मा सरस्वती के कोमल हम्सा जैसा एक चिकना क्रूज़र जो पानी के माध्यम से चमकता है?

लेकिन इससे भी महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि वाह का अर्थ एक तरह से आपका अपना अवचेतन मन भी होता है। विष्णु जी गरुड़ की तरह आसमान के अधिपति हैं, सरस्वती मां आध्यात्मिक रूप से सबसे अधिक प्रबुद्ध हैं, महादेव शिव सबसे मजबूत हैं, किसी भी इलाके में और किसी भी स्थिति में चलते हैं, और माँ दुर्गा शक्ति की अनुपम देवी हैं। यह उनके “ माइंड  सेट “  या दृढ़ निश्चय है!

इसलिए, बहुत सावधान रहें कि आप किस प्रकार का मन चुनते हैं, क्योंकि यह वह मन है जो आपको जीवन भर स्थानांतरित करता है।

संतों ने हमेशा इसे जाना है और पवित्र ग्रंथ, सत्संग, भक्ति और ध्यान के साथ इसे हमेशा ध्यान में रखते हुए मन के वाह को बनाए रखा है।

AUM MANO SHIVAYE ॐ मनो शिवाये !

 AUM MANO SHIVAYE

Aum Mano Shivaye!

Yes .Till now you have heard only Aum Namah Shivaye, which means 'I hail Lord Shiva" or, " The name of God is Shiva" But now you must learn Aum Mano Shivaye.

Shiva must be in your mind, He must occupy your thoughts!

and not just that,

Aum Tano Shivaye !

He must pervade your bodily presence. In hindi we say रोम रोम में बास्ते हैं ईश्वर ,

God is present in every porem of our body, in every iota of the whole creation because He is सर्वव्यापक Omnipresent .

And finally,

Aum Dhano Shivaye !

He must be your everything. Dhan ususally means weakth, but in the larger sense it represents all the things that you own, therefore Dhan signifies "Your everything "
तेरा तुझको अर्पण We must offer our everything to God, because simply everything we have, has been given by Him in the first place! That is the true approach to God.

You cannot be an 'Armchair philosopher' hearing stories about Shiva, resting in your chair, you need to dedicate your life to find your bond with Him, who is the giver of life.

RAM KE ISHWAR, RAMESHWAR SHIVA.

 He is the One who existed even before the world began.

He is the One who has been prayed to, even when He was unseen.
And ever since the very first time He chose to make His presence known, Shiva has been loved by millions.
Records about Him from ancient folklore are very interesting;
He is the perfection of opposites:
Supreme spiritual Guru, but warrior Chieftain,
Ascetic, but perfect husband,
Mendicant, but householder,
Meditative, but intoxicated,
Master of yogic stillness, but King of dance;
Shiva is the fountainhead where paradox reconciles.
In the Hindu pantheon of Gods, He is called the destroyer,
And yet, known by the beautiful symbol of creation, the Shivlinga.
It was common for Shivlingas to have a name. Usually the devotee of Shiva who had constructed a Shivlinga would name it by adding the suffix of Ishwara to his own name, thus acknowledging Shiva’s supremacy and also immortalizing himself, in the bargain.
Almost all the devatas had ritually made a Shivlinga.
Lord Ram who was Vishnu Himself also declared His devotion for Mahadeva at the time of going into Lanka for battle . Ram said that Shiva is His Ishwara, that is why the place is called Rameshwaram.
