 WHEN GRACE HAPPENS

As the day begins, there are thousands
who make their way to the Shiva mandir,
and offer water to their Lord.
Like thousands of rivers that head towards the ocean,
these offerings of simplicity drench Shiva with love.

Each morning that we awaken, is another opportunity to re-invent ourselves. That love which we have for Shiva, each morning He tries to return as a confidence in our Selves. Those offerings of flowers that we give to Him, He wants to return with garlands of happiness in our lives. Just as we take time to pray to God, He too takes time each day to meditate upon us.

And in His care for us, Shiva's predominant thought is that every day when we go to water Him, we can also water our own mind heart and soul, our inner most being.
And then Grace happens
and Shiva rains
this desert heart, renounces its pain.
Shiva rains
and finally, in every drop
we see the same.
swept in a sea of love,
and are forever changed.

जैसे ही दिन शुरू होता है, हजारों लोग शिव मंदिर के लिए अपना रास्ता बनाते हैं, और अपने रब को जल चढ़ाते है। जैसे हजारों नदियाँ जो सागर की ओर जाती हैं, सादगी के ये प्रसाद शिवजी को प्रेम से सराबोर कर देते हैं। हर सुबह जब हम जागते हैं, खुद को फिर से आविष्कार करने का एक और अवसर होता है। वह प्रेम जो हमारे पास शिवजी के लिए है, हर सुबह वह हमारे स्वयं में विश्वास के रूप में लौटने की कोशिश करते है। फूलों का जो प्रसाद हम उन्हें देते हैं, वह हमारे जीवन में खुशियों की माला लेकर लौटना चाहते है। जिस तरह हम भगवान से प्रार्थना करने के लिए समय निकालते हैं, उसी तरह वह भी हर दिन हमारा ध्यान करने के लिए समय निकालते हैं। और हमारे लिए उनकी देखभाल में, शिव का प्रमुख विचार यह है कि हर दिन जब हम उन्हें पानी पिलाने जाते हैं, तो हम अपने मन और आत्मा को भी पानी दे सकते हैं, जो कि हमारी अंतरात्मा है। और फिर अनुग्रह होता है और शिव वर्षा यह रेगिस्तानी दिल, अपना दर्द छोड़ देता है। शिव वर्षा और अंत में, हर बूंद में हम वही देखते हैं। प्यार के सागर में बह गए, और हमेशा के लिए बदल जाते हैं। ॐ नमः शिवाय।
