SHIVA IS THE SUPREME GOD ALWAYS
Right in the very early beginnings of the world,
Brahma and Vishnu, the two Gods were arguing over which one of them was older
in age and therefore, perhaps superior. Both were citing various examples of
their own prowess; while Brahma boasted about all His creations, Vishnu talked
of His divine manifestations and how He had, from time to time, saved the
world. Suddenly, a huge column of fire appeared, which had virtually no beginning and
no end, startling both Brahma and Vishnu; they had never seen anything like
this. The question arose as to what was this fire? Who owned it? Where did it
originate? What kind of power did it denote? Brahma and Vishnu both looked at
each other and shook their heads side-ways , conveying that neither of them had
created this column. Then who was the creator? This became a stark mystery
staring both of them in the face. They agreed to put aside their own argument
and first fathom this infinite column. One went skyward, the other into the depth of the earth. They travelled for an endless time,
but they just could not reach the end of the column! This, of course meant that
they could not ever know where it began! Ultimately, Both Vishnu and Brahma
were so exhausted that they collapsed onto the ground , and prayed to the fire
itself to reveal its identity, its originThen, Shiva appeared, and told them that the column was created and owned by Him.
Aum Namah Shivaye.
